Pristine out of IBC with a bang!
Friday night the band played a vicious set at the BB Kings Resturant & Blues Club. They forged on with a "take no prisoners" set of original material ranging from soft blues ballads to raging rockers. A capacity crowd was the best and biggest of the week, applauding every solo and hollering and stomping between songs. But unfortunatly it didn't quite meet the judges standards. The young and very talented Noah Wotherspoon went through, and we wish him all the best.
Afterwards while stopping every 10 yards to sign autographs and recieve accolades, vocalist Heidi states with a familiar grin: "It has easily been the best week of my life. The crowd here is so responsive, much like the blues people back home, that performing here is much like singing in the shower or in my livingroom alone; relaxed and fun. I've met so many great people that appreciates what we as a band do, that I'm almost speechless. They've told us that they're happy we're trying to "push the envelope" over here, which I'm happy to say is not a conciencous decision, but a natural evolvement of the band. We truly love the blues and are thrilled that our type of 70's bluesrock doesn't seem to scare anyone. It's been a blast and I really hope we'll be coming back soon."
The band will take a few days off, but will be doing a showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe on Monday February 6th, timeslot TBA.
