So long USA, until next time.
"Pristine has left the building", but may return to the States in 2012. There has been some talk of bringing the band back for a fall run of festivals and gigs, time will show and you'll get the information here first. The band made a lot of new friends and got great connections during their stay in Memphis.
Heidi says: "This has been a overwhelming visit to the USA. There are so many great people here, and they "got" us and our music, which is what I was most afraid wouldn't happen. The experience of coming to the cradle of the blues and have people on their feet shouting, stomping, whistling and applauding like crazy was beyond my wildest dreams, I'm so grateful and will take it with me for the rest of my life. Our manager just informed me that she's gotten more than a few inquiries to get the band back this fall, I really hope that works out. I'm so in love with the country and the people there." she adds with a big smile.
About the private blues tour led by the accomplished producer/songwriter Charley Burch she says:"The visit to Mississippi was such a moving experience and filled me with inspiration. Going into pre-production of the next record this spring will probably be fuled by the spirits of the masters and their ghosts. Charley took us to several amazing sights, Moorhead "Where the Southern crosses the Dog", Sonny Boy Williamsons grave, Tutwiler, but the night time visit to Robert Johnsons grave was awe-inspiring. We'll definitly be back, I can't wait."
